Silver State is a competition that serves as a fundraiser for the Nevada Music Teachers Association. The proceeds are used for educational workshops and clinics to benefit teachers, students, and parents. First, second and third place ribbons are awarded by one or more judges in each category.

Silver State is held in October or November each year.  For exact dates for the current year, please consult the events calendar if you are an NNMTA member or contact your child’s teacher if you are a parent.
